The torch-on membrane, consisting of modified bitumen, is carefully installed on the primed surface and fused using a propane torch to create a seamless and impermeable barrier against moisture.

In the Torch-On waterproofing system, overlap and joint treatment is a critical step to ensure the overall effectiveness of the waterproofing. Each roll of membrane is heat-welded to the adjacent sheet, typically with a minimum overlap of 75mm (side) and 100mm (end). By applying heat, the edges of the membrane fuse together, forming a continuous and seamless waterproof barrier that effectively prevents moisture from seeping through the joints.

Proper and professional joint installation not only enhances the overall seal of the system but also significantly improves its durability and resistance to water ingress.

• Flat surface without air bubbles, wrinkles, or damage
• Tight detailing around corners, edges, and pipe penetrations
